  1. The Alenza tires are on "National Back-Order" this is per American Tire Stores (Discount Tires in other states) and I confirmed this with Bridgestone corp. So I guess it is the Yokohama YK520 for us, they made a better deal ($700/set of 4, everything included) since they couldn't get the Bridgestones. We'll up-date later.
  2. Also need 18" tires for our RX330. Down to Yokohama YK520 and BS Dueler H/L Alenza, we think. The American Tire store (same as Discount Tire stores) says the YK520 is a better tire. Both are highly rated by purchasers. This forum also seems to have high marks for the Alenza. The Alenza comes in a VR and HR rated tire, I am only interested in the VR rated tire. We value tire attributes probably in this order: quietness, cost, snow traction, water traction, mileage, and dry traction. Also in there is straight-line stability as the OEM Michelin MXV4 tend to drift depending on the road surface. Even AT store says the Michelin is the inferior tire. Ihave seen little mention of real life experiences with the YK520s. Is there anyone who can speak for each tire, preferably both, from personal experience?
  3. Yes you do! Very nice. This is what I was hoping was out there. Thanks.
  4. Thanks for the link. However, why is this information worth $15 to get from this link? I guess I assumed this was free information. Am I missing some concept here? Can someone provide me with a list of symptoms I might look for before I take my vehicle into the dealer?
  5. Just purchased a 04 RX330 AWD w/o Nav for my wife. It has about a 6 months left on the factory warranty. I would like to review the known issues as given by the Technical Service Bulletin for the car. The closest dealer is 3+ hours away so I have to be efficient in getting any issues fixed prior to the warranty going away. Can anyone share a list of TSBs for this vehicle? Is there anything else I should be doing? I will ask the dealer for the service history (they would not release prior to us buying the vehicle). The owner prior to us bought in February as a "Certified Lexus" so I assume it is in pretty good shape. Although i don't know if that means the perform all TSBs that are applicable to the vehicle.
