  1. Hi all, Just thought I'd add my 2 cents on the clickety-clack noise issue. I just had this addressed the other day - I was hearing a fairly loud (& frankly pretty embarrassing) noise coming from the rear end of the car going over bumps at low speeds...couldn't hear it at all with the windows up, but terrible with them down. Took it to the dealer & the techh gave me a couple of possibilities: the rear brakes not being adjusted 100% properly - not being a mechanical whiz I'll do my best to recount what he said - I think he was trying to tell me that if the caliper is not quite adjusted/tightened/aligned properly it can tap against the rotor & make a clattering noise going over bumps. So they adjusted the rear brakes & the noise is about 95% gone now. If I had started with only this noise I wouldn't have mentioned it to the dealer...it's only noticable to me because I'm really listening hard. The other thing that he said is possible is the emergency brake housing needs adjusting - this seems to be what may be the last little bit of noise in my car. If I go over bumps now there's a little tiny clackity noise...if you go over the bump with the emergency brake on a bit, no noise. So seems like that will be the next trip to the dealer. Don't know if that helps anyone, but thought it could give you something to get them to check. Love love love my car otherwise though :D I also had the dreaded seatbelt rattle (really soft tapping noise) - they replaced the seatbelt housing & put some sort of felt insert in to get rid of the plastic on plastic surface tapping...seems to have worked like a charm.
