The front passenger door closer/auto locking mechanism on my 2003 LS430 Ultra is not working. The auto closing part works but the power lock part does not. The dealer tells me this is a one piece part and cost $963.00!!!!! Does anyone know if this can be repaired or where I can get a used one? The part number is:69030-50260. Thanks Tom

Stop getting mad at your car! Maybe someone else will chime in here, but in my experience any time you need to get into the center console of a Lexus. Toyota or even Honda/Acura requires removing an amazing amount of stuff. If I were you I would look for a radio install guide for your car and I'll bet that the removal instructions will be included in that. Actually, my radar detector fell off the windshield, hit the switch and pushed it through! at least it didn't crack the wood!

I accidentally pushed the Height adjustment switch in through the wood on my Ultra. Does anyone know how to remove that small section of the wood dash so I can put the switch back into place? Or should I take it to the dealer?
