1999 Lexus RX300 - check engine light on, car performance terrible, mpg too low / local mechanic told me the troube code was P0171 - they replaced the Air Mass Sensor and changed the spark plugs. All was fine for 8 days or so and yesterday the check engine light came on again! I brought it back to the mechanic who once again told me the trouble code was the same! What else could it be?
