  1. Thanks flanker271 I believe i have the same problem as you did; I found the thread you mention, I will look into it. http://us.lexusownersclub.com/forums/index...c=15656&hl=
  2. Thank! Did you mean the right down side of dash board mechanic meter which show total milage? thats seem working fine, you think it will break need to repair or just loose need to connect tight ? is this a ordinary fail for Ls400? my milage show about 110,000 only.
  3. Dear all My Ls400 have a small click noise come out from the left side of dash board recentally, the click frequency depend on speed; when the car run fast then the click sound go fast, it just like a speed wire thing drive a meter thing, but the sound is loud enought that you can heard it. Is there anything loose or wearn? how to fix it? Thank in advance David Liang
  4. nc211 no matter what, you are doing expert job already :) yes,my mechanic is talking about busing in the hub, which on the other end of the control arm, and that bushing is actually built into the hub,but I don't know how to call this busing, and if it avaliable in the ASUS repart kit? what code? I don't want to replace the hole hub, expensive as you said. P.S I have replaced the so call "rear axle carrier arm bushing",that I know, already. Thanks!
  5. Hi nc211 I notice that you are very good at suspension system, expert! My mechanic said the rocking backward problem might cause by a worn bushing between rear axle carrier and no2. lower arm (he saw it worn and feel soft), do you know what this busing called? Does this busing available in the market (for replacement)? I didn't see anyone discuss this part before. Do you think it might cause the problem? Thanks in advance!
  6. Thanks nc211 I fully understand now, thank you so much :)
  7. 250 buck? that should be the whole lamp assmbly right? I just want to modify the socket to fit in H4 bulb only, cost should not more than 10~20 bulk; Is it possible?
  8. Sorry! SK I mean what spec. or brand name of "Toyota stuff"? I am not quite understand what it is?
  9. Any detail about SK mention "Brand new tranny fluid especially the Toyota stuff "? Thanks
  10. Thanks qha_vn It's good to hear this, now I have chance to select a better light bulb. :)
  11. This might be a silly question. Is it possible change head light socket from 9004 type to H4 or H7? Because now the H4, H7 light bulb are popular, and easy to get. Thanks! :P
  12. I think that is not PC board components problem, or else needle should balck out completely. I guess the PC board side will generate a high voltage, and on the back of the needle there have two condutive material at the two edges connect to the high voltage; the high voltage will engage the cold cathod needle. The needle will partially black out depend on where the conductive material break(crack); if crack at the neck of the needle then it will fully black out. So if I can patch the crack part it should restore the light. This is my guess; I have only one car, I am not dare to take it apart unless I am sure I can fix it. So I will gather more info before I start to fix it.
  13. Thanks CUMan I have read it and respone.
  14. I am curious, why a crack connection will damage the electrical circuit, and can't be fixed? I am a EE engineer. If someone can fix it, its mean that the needle can be repaired or replace. So why only JIM WALKER can fix it and we can't? only he can get the parts or he have special skill? I am just wandering why no one fix the needles themself? is there any? Thanks
  15. Thanks qha_vn Now I joint to that thread, still no good answer yet. There are two topic in that thread, that's why I can't fine it inadvance, thank again.
