Which fan? Cooling fans in engine are computer controlled. Heater fan, just requires you push the "off" button on the dash......If it's always on, is it always the same speed?

Both my armrests on my 2000 RX300 are worn a bit, but I noticed the bottoms of both look like new. What if I swap the drivers and passengers, thus reversing them. Anybody try this? Can you explain how to take them off....
