Hi. I'm looking to this forum as a source of information as I attempt to maintain my 2005 es330. My son and I built a shop for auto repair, complete with a full-sized hoist, so there's no excuse for neglected maintenance except a lack of information. The oil change went fine. Next up is a suspected exhaust leak, as the car is noisier than it usually is. So I'll dig through your files and see what's up. It seems easier to take the Lexus exhaust plumbing apart than my son...

Thanks. Still looking around, but the site is extensive. Of course I have the same problem as most Lexus owners. Replacement keys.
I purchased a 98 es300 as a rolling restoration. I love bringing a car back from abuse. I have completed a 91 MIata, a 89 F150 and gave up on a 2001 GMC Sonoma. The sonoma was wearing out parts before I could get everything fixed.
Thanks for all the work on the site.

have a 92 es 300 that seems to have a starter issue. new battery, etc; but sometimes when I start it there is just a click, nothing else. All of the electrics work, just no go. Then after afew to several tries it will fire-up. Been told a solinoid kit will do the trick. would appreciate any ideas or input.

Thanks for the welcome. I have been reading posts here since I acquired a 99 RX a few months ago. Bought it with the cel on and had it checked. OCV on both banks needed replaced and I did that. now I have an error code p1663 ocv malfunction bank 2. Cleared the code and it returns. What else could be causing the ocv to malfunction? Also reset the computer. Has anyone else experience this?
