  2. My advice is to get the VIN and call your local Lexus dealer to look up its record. They can see all the maintenance on the vehicle.I did that with the Lexus dealer that I'd been dealing with for 15 years. I'd also ask for a Carfax to make doubly sure it was not in an accident or flood. I bought my LS 2007 460 with 21,500 miles on it and now have 81,000. I bought it sight unseen from a dealer in Okla City and had it shipped by auto transporter to Florida. It was a Lexus certified vehicle which gave an added feeling of confidence. My dealer's service manager said-go for it. I've never had a problem except for the chrome wheels that are notorious for the beading to break down and you have to keep adding air to them. Fortunately I onl have one tire giving me that problem. You may wish to buy a 460 from a dealer. Good luck!
  3. Hi, the LS is more comfortable. I'm not concerned about the mileage. We are driving from Palm Beach, FL to Plano, Tx then to Omaha and back to Plano. Eventually we will return to Palm Beach. My Lexus buddies tell me that at 83K miles the LS is just being broken in. I'm still on the original brake pads. My 2001 GS 300 is still going strong at 100K. I sold it to a buddy of mine.
  4. I'm a long time Lexus owner (20 years and 7 Lexus). I'm just wondering whether to take my 2007 LS 460 with 83K miles on a long road trip (3500+miles) or my wife's 2013 ES 350 with 12K miles on it. The LS is in typical Lexus fabulous condition. I welcome comments.
  5. Does anyone have a handle on where to get locking lug nuts for 2007 LS 460 chrome wheels? I'd like to get ones that lock like the OEM ones on my GS & RX. Thanx
