  1. Cduluk - this was a fantastik help. I did this is about 15 minutes, thanks to you, and it only took that long because I was extra cautious. For any other readers - I discovered that the headlight washer button just snaps in to a retaining piece from the rear. Mine had just pushed out. Maybe it was never seated right - don't know. But it was no problem to snap it back in. Problem solved.
  2. This is awesome that you happend to have these pictures! Thanks a lot. I'll post how it works out!
  3. Hi All. I did a silly thing and pressed the headlight washer button on my rx330 a bit too hard and it pushed through into the console. Now I need to pull off the trim where the button goes to put it back right. I have no idea how to do this and am worried about damaging the trim piece. Ca anyone tell me how to remove the trim piece? I'm talking about the wood where the seat heater control, head light washer button and the power outlight are. Thanks a lot! Roney in Virgina
  4. Found it in a different post - on my rx330 I had to hold the sunroof button forward. The window opened and closed a couple of times and then worked normally! Both tilt and open now work. woo hoo Patesrwe
  5. Ok - fixed the windows, but how do you reset the sunroof? I have not figured that one out.. Thanks! Patesrwe
  6. Folks - I have seen the discussion in here for the overide for version 5, and that it's gone in version 7. However, I have Gen 4 version 6.1 (specifically, it says "ver.06.1").. I can get into the maintanence menus no prob but I don't see how to override the lock that keeps me from using the system while in motion. Is this a limitation of version 6.1 as well, or is there some different sequence? Any thoughts? Thanks lot! RP in Virginia Love my rx - hate this limitation.
  7. Thanks - do you have any idea how to do a reset?
  8. :( Folks - I'm having problems with my navigation system and I'm wondering is anyone else has experienced similar issues. Basicially, it gets lost. It will not hold a GPS signal for any length of time and, once it loses the signal, it often get totally lost within minutes and has me driving in water and other interesting things. So some questions... Should the GPS stay locked in most or all of the time? Is there anything I can do to trigger a GPS acquisition? Where is the GPS antenna, anyway? Any other thoughts? This is frustrating particularly as I've already had it in to Lexus (lexus of richmond, va) on this problem. They replaced the DVD and it actually seemed to work better for quite a while. But no more... Thank You Roney

  10. The issue does not seem like calibration. It's not consitantly nor constantly off - most of the time it's on target. It's occasionally off and, when it is, it's off by miles. Would calibration account for that?
  11. Do you happen to have the service bulletin number? My lexus dealer says they do not know of such a bulletin, but, honestly, they've never impressed me much. Thanks
  12. Hello, I have a 2005 rx330 with navigation. I recently had the new disk installed, so everything should be up to date. From time to time, however, the nav seems to get "lost" and does not know where I am. It will plot me several miles off. I have not found any trick that causes the problem of fixes the problem. It just fixes itself everntually. Has anyone else had this issue? Thanks a lot Roney Pate Richmond, Va
  13. Hello - I wanted to ask about your experience with having Lexus replace the wheels. I have the chrome wheels on my 05 rx330. I bought the car used (still under full warranty, only 23k miles) and the chrome wheels are flaking and pitted. My local lexus dealer says someone must have put a bad chemical wash on them in the past and they won't replace them. I feel strongly it's a warranty issue. What was your experience? Did you have to have Lexus inc intervene? Thanks a lot. Patesrwe - richmond, virginia
