  2. Well it finally happened, a Lexus has stranded me, sure I have had problems in the past, but I have never been left on the side of the road (OK I was in a parking lot)...100 miles from the dealer...Thank Goodness for AAA Plus I highly recommend it. Anyway after waiting nearly 3 hours and driving in the cab of a tow truck for 100 miles on the nose I was deposited at the dealer. It turns out it's the throttle body or something associated and of course they don't have it in stock, but I did get a loaner and it is covered under warrantee, but what a pain, and with all the other misery Toyota is facing it does wear on my confidence a bit. They told me this is not a common problem, what do you guys think? it gave prior no indication just went into limp mode when I started it up.
  3. I removed the roof rack completely and everything is now OK. I am leaving the rack off, I purchased the little plastic covers that go over the slots for the bolt holes. I just have to remember never put anything heavy in the rear while in the garage.
  4. Thanks for the advise I tried everything except letting air out of the tires and nothing has worked. Also my car has never lowered itself in park does everybody elses do this?
  5. I have to lower my 2004 to get it in the garage, I put a heavy case in the back and I can only assume that some sort of load leveling took place because the rear has raised up and is now completely stuck in the garage. the down/lower button does nothing. Does anyone have any idea how I can lower the vehicle? it is jammed up against the roof beam.
