1999 GS 3oo drivers side stopped heating up around three months ago light comes on but seat does not get warm any ideas wht to look for and what to fix? txs

I was given a price of $659-800 to do the 60 k warranty work and this is an independent shop in may area of Annapolis Maryland. I now see the tran does not need change . The real issue from every shop was difficulty in spark plug replacement...do these cost seem in line.
