  1. no personal experience but from wat i've heard from everyone is that u cant go wrong with toyomoto. they have some good products and they do a good install as well.
  2. well, according to the test drives and all the news by some magz..and Top gear as well...the RX-8 beats the E46 on the track...which obviously means Better performance More power then the is300 Better handling as far as looks..its all everyones personal prefs..i personaly like both but if i had to make a choice for a "sports car" i would def go for the RX-8. as far as rear seats are concerned..the is def has a lil more room then the RX-8. but this is a comparison for stock to stock cars....if u go aftermarket....the RX-8 will def eat dust by the is. Reliability wise...def the is will win and road noise..has a lot to do with the type and make of tires on the car...but the is prolly has less road noise as to the RX-8. and in the end...safety...i would vote for the IS. Bottom line RX-8 is def a better over all performance car out of the box but u have to take other factors in consideration as well. just my 02 Good luck
  3. the stock intake in ur car IS A COLD AIR intake WITH some restrictions. u can use a drop in filter and it'll help a bit but unfortunately most of the after market intakes available for our cars are short ram or warm air intake in other words. i m tryin to make a custom CAI, will post pics once done. goodluck
  4. i'll take one of ur questions . The engine is actually 2JZ-GE as compare to the supra which is 2JZ-GTE. To build an engine that can handle the same power as a GTE., yes, u'll need the TT internals. A few ppl have done the conversion and in fact One of our members is in the process of doing the conversion. i suggest u go through his post. i'll try to find it for u.
  5. here u go. this is the one mentioned above thats made by TTE. http://www.dreamtrade.com/cgi-bin/yabb/YaB...;num=1037820741 herez the one built by Rod Millen http://web721df.ntx.net/Is430.htm both are sweet.
  6. srt is good if u get it with the race ecu, otherwise its just a regular intake. if u plan to add headers later on, get the srt intake with the race ecu and also the safc to achieve max power. good luck
  7. nice. i've seen it before. wats the cost?
  8. damn thats sweet. i wonder how much u have spent on this thing already. i m impressed.
  9. 05 is300 wont be a whole new body style just slightly different then the current one. dont expect a whole different car. personally, i would go a head and trade in the es300 for a 04 is300 in a blink. u wont regret it. trust me. ;) and there isnt any coupe or convertible comin for the is300. its just rumours.
  10. if u can afford the maintainance, keep the s4. There is no comparison between a S4 and an is300. Both are great cars in their own classes. It also depends on how much you are into modifications and stuff...!!!!!
  11. comparable cars dont always have comparable values. the car isnt worth that much u can defenetely find a better one. dont waste ur time on this one and have a lil patience when lookin for a car. u may regret later one. but if u really dont have any patience and u just "WANT A CAR RIGHT NOW"..then......ask him if he takes 20. i wouldnt pay more then that. and just to help u out, here is a tip, Take the car to a lexus dealership and have em do a complete check includin body and engine. They will be able to tell u about everysingle piece that needs to be repaired or replaced. thats how u can really get to know a lotttt more about the car then just lookin at it and information provided by the seller. tell the seller that u will buy the car if there arent too many problems with it and u'll also pay for the diagnostic lexus performs on ur car (around $200 or so),......however, if there toooo many problems with the car, then u wont buy it and HE will have to pay for the lexus diagnostic check. u can also use all those problems lexus discovers as a bargain to make a good deal and lexus will also tell u the cost of repair. so use it for ur benefit. hope that helped.
