it's the second problem , engine still runs fine , but it's just like it's in neutral

hi , just bought a 1994 Celisior ... and driving it home when i went to pull away it lost all drive , i then stopped for a little while and then started it and it drove ok , but a little way down the road and after going round a bend it lost drive again , it did this about 4 times on the way home ?? any ideas ?? please

it's resticted to 118 mph at the factory , probably a jap import model . i have just bought a 1994 Celisior and that only has 180kph on the clock
