My '97 ES 300 is prewired for a 6 disk changer in the glove box; however I was told by the original owner that if I put in a non-Lexus changer, it wouldn't work directly off the stereo control (I would have to manually change disks and tracks from the changer). Any thoughts on how to solve this so a new changer will function as a factory installed one?
