  1. That worked. Thanks for the help. Started up, was rough running for about 4-5 seconds then ran normal.
  2. I have 94 LS400 with around 141000, and this morning went to start it and I get one click then nothing. I think the battery is fine because lights come on and radio works. Tried to put a charger on it to get it started and still the one click and then nothing. Has never been hard to start in the past. Never have had to crank it up to get it started. I am guessing it is my starter? Any suggestions on what to check otherwise? I live in Denver area, any suggestions on a good place to bring it?
  3. I bought a 94' LS400 a few weeks back with what I thought was roughly 138000 miles, for $5500. Was not told about the dash lights not working which started the 2nd day after I bought it. Was not a new occurence after tlooking atsome of the paperwork. Now I have found that when the dash lights are not on, they odometer is also not working. So really I have no idea what the mileage is. I want to keep the car, but am wondering what I should do about this if anything. My plan was to have the car for about a year then sell it. I don't want to get myself in trouble when it comes to selling the car, with falsly reporting the mileage. What should I do? Any suggestions?
  4. Had it checked out today at lexus dealership and things look good. Very minor things needed, a few light bulbs, serpentine belt, and they said the left front wheel bearing needs replacing. I guess it is making noise, all I hear though is a brake squeel of some sort. Hood struts have lost their seal as the hood comes down slowly, but not to concerned about that. Otherwise things are good. A lot of info on this website. Other vehicle is a landcruiser, amazing how similar they feel and drive. Only serviced at lexus up till 60,000, was able to see those records.
  5. Just bought a 1994 LS400 with 139000 miles on it. Paid $5500, is that a decent price or to much? Bringing it into a dealer in the morning to be checked out. Anything specific that I should have them look at or just leave it up to them? Don't have records past 60,000, except the last 10,000 or so. Hoping the dealer can tell me what service has been done. Have read a ton of the posts here and that really helped. Any input is appreciated.
