I can't believe that the 2010 Rx350 has a plastic panel which houses a light and a reset switch at such a close distance to the brake pedal and the accelerator that it can easily cause a driver to get his shoe jammed against it while moving his foot from one to another. I had some bad experiences early on but I thought that it was because I wear a size 13 sneaker. I was very wary every time that I drove and concerned that I always had to be conscious of my heel placement so that I would move my foot further to the left of my more comfortable heel placement so that the arc of the movement from one to another would be low enough that I wouldn't impinge my shoe on that panel so that I wouldn't have to force my shoe to move past the impingement causing an unsafe ability to accelerate when I needed to or more importantly to brake when I needed to. This was bad enough but when it really hit me and I got scared was when my son recently drove my car and asked me what was wrong with the gas and brake pedals because he had his shoe jammed up when trying to brake. He has a size eleven and a half shoe which is very common as compared to my size. I immediately cut off that plastic panel and fitted in the light and reset button at a higher level to eliminate the problem and now am much more relaxed when I drive. I hope that Lexus has corrected this highly unsafe problem in later models of the RX350. Please let me know your experiences and if they have corrected this problem
