  1. I had the same problem. The fuse box is in the car on the passenger side under the glove box by your feet. Lay on your back and you will be able to see it. It is about 3" X 2", white with all the fuse info on the cover. Pop the cover and you will be able to read it better. Hard to read on your back. It is a 15 amp mini blade fuse. Check out Kragen Auto Parts and take it with you. They would have sold me the larger mini blade if I did not have it with me. Good Luck!!

Thanks, finally found it with your help... That this is way in there

  2. But I've seen the light :D I love the 6 second NAV hack, its a must, especially with a passenger. Funny thing is, I'm not just in love with the power, I'm in love with the turning radius too!! This car is incredible!!

Is this the 6 second hack that you used?

    "In sequence

Press the Menu button on the dash.

Press the Volume button on the screen.

Press the upper left corner of the screen. (Where the speaker icon is located.)

Press the lower left corner of the screen.

Press the upper left corner of the screen again.

Press the lower left corner of the screen again.

    On the screen that appears:

Press the Override button and hold it until you hear a beep. The Override letters turn black in color showing it is deselected.

Press the Back button to get back to the previous screen."

  3. The dealer can enable the autolock through the C-BEST settings. Ask them for a printout of all the things you can customize, there are a lot.

My friend just went to the dealer to ask about the auto lock feature they had no idea what that was... Could someone verify the autolock through C-BEST?

  4. I had the exact same type of stain, an amber colored stain that got on my car and completely dried and incorporated into the pain the first week I got my IS250AWD. it was tungsten Pearl so it was easy to see. I had a detailer try to take it off... he used thinner and actually scraped a chip of clear coat off, but before that the stain wouldn't come off. At that point I took it to the dealer, they tried to wet sand it, got lighter but didn't come off, eventually the dealer just repainted the L/R door for me...

  5. Hi fellas,

Just got my IS250AWD in tungsten pearl last week. They tried to sell me this clear coat sealant/protectant that is

"chemically bonded on a molecular level to the paint to protect it and actually repells foreign material including dirt, bug stains, and paint. They those things can be simply wiped off if this sealant is on the paint"

I didn't believe them, anyways I thought they said it is guaranteed for as long as I owned the car (or 5 years...) I can't remember. Is there such a thing and what is it?

BTW anyone have comments on the Black Magic Wet Shine liquid wax? It was a best pick on this month's Consumer Reports. I'm really just looking for how it compares to other products on this forum with regard to the durability...
