For anyone interested, I replaced an alternator due to an oil leak from the distributor on my 1995 SC300. I searched this site for the distributor o-ring size or part number, none found. A few members asked the same question but no replies. Purchased from a Toyota dealer, part number is 90099-14109 sells for ~$2. AKA M3.5 X 23 which has an ID=23mm X OD=30mm X width=3.5mm.

I rebuilt a spare SC driver's side door hinge following the instructions outlined in www.jkwebdesign.co.uk/lexusclub/doors.htm 7. NO EBAY LINKS. If you have an eBay auction it will cost you to have a link placed on the LOC to receive more dedicated Lexus owners traffic to your auction. You are selling it on eBay to make as much as you can ,not to help a fellow Lexus owner getting a part.

I rebuilt a used driver's side door hinge and installed it last week. I found it easier to disconnect the wiring from the kick panel area. There are three plug to remove. The door panel is a lot more work.

If my 1995 SC300 is not started every 5 days or so the battery will not start the car. Recently I have replaced the alternator and :whistles: battery but it did not help. With a 12 volt test light connected in series with the ground wire on the battery I isolated the problem to the radio circuit which has a 20 amp fuse. The test light was dim and pulsates approx 3 to 4 times a second. Disconnecting the power wire to the power antenna did not help. Can someone please help, I need the wiring schematic for the radio circuit. Thanks in advance.
