I bought my 06 GS300AWD with Nav in August 06 the dealer included Sirius but could not install it at that time. I was just told this week that all Kits for the ES and GS have been recalled and that while there is no official word from Corporate Lexus, it may be because Lexus struck an exclusive deal with XM and they will not be offering Sirius. The dealer has offered XM instead at no cost. All who want Sirius for the programming should write to Lexus and voice our dissatisfaction with this development.

I watched some of the installation - no dash tear out to my knowledge most to the equipment went in the trunk. The antenna was installed on the right side of the rear view mirror

After some time of back and forth with the dealer and the dealer back and forth with corporate, they agreed to install the sirius kit (which works thru the nav/radio) made for the es330 into my 06 GX470. It works great and is accessed by pressing the 'am' button to cycle thru am, sat1, sat2, and sat3

Sirius was installed so it works thru the Nav/Audio screen; however when viewing the artist and song information it only shows 10 characters. Is there an option that can be set by the dealer or me to show more of the text?
