I have a 1996 SC300. When I pull away from the stop sign and then have to slow and stop for a signal light half block away I hear a "clunk" noise when I let off the gas pedal before I apply the brakes.
Also the overall ride does not feel "tight" going over small ridges in the road or a small type pot hole it sounds and feels like I am riding on rims rather than tires.
Being a woman mechanics agree with what I say but then say they can't find anything wrong. I know there is something wrong because when I first bought the car it didn't do this.
