For sale is a beautiful example of a 1992 LS400, Pearl white with the Gold package, Beautiful finish, No dings or scratches. Overpriced, seat tears, No Nakamichi Either, should be about 1500 less than listing. Good car, lower the price and it should sell

No seat tears at all, If the buyer wants nak in the car that can be arranged, No problem. You have to see it to beleive it !!! One of the finest kept LS's out there. New price, $5k And you make arrangements to pick up the car as stated above. I am seriously considering selling my GS and have this LS in my garage. Yes, A 98 for a 92 B)

how much for the climate control assembly?

I couldn't sell my 91 LS400 as a whole so I decided to part it out. Here are the details of any known problems.

VIN JT8UF11E1M0062891 Everything is stock original on the car except someone told me the wheels came from another model.

Interior:

1) hinge to door on cup holder is broken. I have the door but it is broken off cleanly at the hinge.

2) there are a few places where the seats are splitting

3) the steering wheel is a little worn

4) the center console has some crackling on the top

Exterior:

1) In a parking deck on a slope I let my foot off the brake and rolled forward to have an encounter with a concrete barrier----- damage to grill, hood and front left quarter panel. I drove it like that for 3 years.

2) Small amount of rust size of a quarter around the trunk lid.

3) CD caddy missing from the CD-changer in the trunk.

4) A few place where the paint is crackling.

Engine:

1) Ever since I have owned it there has been a valve clicking. My mechanic told me it was a $3.00 part and an 8 hour job and not to do it unless it really bothered me and I chose not to do it. Never gave me a problem.

2) This was told to me by a Lexus mechanic ---ECT hose leaking ---Front ball joints need replaced.

I have a 92 LS 400 and decided to put chrome emblems instead of the gold......does anyone have the LS 400 and the front grill emblem? ebay has them but i think the grill emblem has the pins and the ones on ebay are all adhesive.......thanks

Recently started smelling fuel under the hood, so one day as i am driving there is smoke filling the inside of my car.....I thought "hell, this thing is on fire" so i bailed out" come to find out that the seals on my fuel injectors are bad......so i need the following parts:

1. Injector seals

2. Plug and wires (best kind?)

3. While i have it down that far, might as well change out or rebuild starter? where is best place to buy one?

4. the engine wire harness may have gotten "frayed" during the time all the smoke occured, so i need a engine wire harness?

yea, the all clear do look a lil awkward...but the Red,clear,Red doesn't look too bad...with the clear turn lenses in the front......they use to be alot cheaper on ebay........thanks all

I used to see the clear tail light lenses for a 92 LS 400 but I don't see them no more....lextasy still have the front turn lenses in clear but no one seems to carry the tail lights in clear....anyone know what happen or who is selling them.....

I have the same problem....on the upper control arms, can you just change out the bushings or do you have to buy the whole control arm (very expensive).......i have seen bushings on ebay but they say they are for a trailing arm....what is that?

sort of but mine is not quite as "heavy" as yours sounds but that might indicate that yours is a little worse I suppose.

Sounds like you have changed all the same components as I have so that leaves the UCA's as the likely culprit. I'm going to put my car back up on the lift and do a little more checking.

$475...ouch....that's the price for upper control arms and i have sticker shock......does anyone know where to find these cheaper......changed out the lower ball joints, tie rod ends and had a lil play in the Upper arm.......ready to buy a used one but it may have more wear than mines.......but is it alot cheaper.........any advice?

I have a 92 LS 400, i recently changed the serpentine belt, water pump....and I still get fluid running out of the overflow tube....car is not running hot, just got in from Houston today ran car about 80mph for 2 hundred miles with no problem....so as i park I hear a rumbling sound and fluid is coming out by driver side wheel......what could my problem be......thanks

my O/D light also come on and flashes.....i did notice that when I take off from a stand still my car will accelerate normal and then seems like a governer kicks in and the rpms drop....once i press the gas pedal the car will pickup speed and that's usually when the light comes on.........has anyone experienced this?????????????92LS with 234000 miles.......
