Thanks for your replys...I really love my es 300 series...just thought maybe that es 250 would have been a rare buy but guess not...I just got my lexus serviced the last past couple of days...1500.00..Had a new timming belt, water pump. t-stat,and it needed a new pully...The labor rate was 79.00 an hour here in pa..

Hey Everyone, I seen a 1990 es250 @ a local dealer and was curious so I stopped.They are asking 5,900 for it..It has 135,000.The car is in excellent shape and and has all sevice records...The dealer is even offering a warrenty. I was just wondering if this is a good buy..Is there any major promblems known for the 250's ..I also noticed the instrument panel is not like my es 300 which has the red needles.It does have the leather and airbag..The car seems to have been well mantained..Any thoughts would be appreciated... :whistles:

One Promblem I have had with my lexus is the power doors locks will not work on either door ..I checked the fuses and they are fine ..any suggestions?

There is 151,694 miles on the car as of today. I will Post a pic of it when I get a chance ...It is Red with metalic dusting..

I must say my 1992 lexus es is still running great ..Keeping mantance up is not cheap...I am getting ready to have the vehicle serviced and is excpected to cost 1200-1500 dollers for repairs..How many miles has any one put on the original engine and trans.?The vehicle had a bad miss and would not run at about 147,000 miles and had a complete tune -up @ the cost of 400.00 My machanic has noticed a few oil leaks. My needle lights are burnt out..I am having a lexus dealership do my timing belt service and the other maintence work such as the valve pan covers from my local mechanic and buying the parts on-line for a more reasonable price then the lexus dealership.I really cant say much about this car have not had it long but for a few months . But it seems it was well maintaned . My airbag light is now staying on and not sure why, guess I will have to have that looked at also.I must say Lexus knows how to make a car.
