Want to get away from Nextel. price...I guess under 300 bucks...just needs to be phone. Don't really need much besides that. I was planning on going with cingular if that makes a difference.

I'm about ready to get rid of my nextel...and would like to get a phone that works WELL with the Bluetooth functionality in the new Lexus... Any suggestions? Looking for something with the least loss in functionality...easy to do...that sorta thing. Appreciate it.

Longo will not give me any discount if I elect not to have the radio put in. I guess I will get the radio for free. There is an option of paying $500 upfront for "lifetime" Sirius subscription. This may be an option. I think I get my money back after about 3 years. I hear that the music and songs are sometime not the original singer but repackaged songs. Longo is charging $2500 over invoice on the GS430- I think it come out to $53,900 or so. I can order the exact color I want- they will just order it from Japan. Make sure you keep the car at least 3 years...once you get rid of the car...the lifetime subscription goes with it since that is what they mean by "lifetime". Its forever as long as you keep that receiver from what I understand. I have not heard anything but original music thus far...but maybe I'm not listening to a genre that has the repackaged songs. Good luck...hopefully next month I'll be able to be heading down that path myself. COME ON ACCOUNTANT!

How much are they discounting the car? Sirius radio they usually charge you 4-500 bucks for...if its worth paying that for the discount...I don't see a reason not too. If you don't mind me asking...what are you getting the car for? I'm looking into buying one next month...would like to know what others are paying. btw...if you like music at all...it'll be hard to not keep paying the monthly. Satellite radio is just too nice. I put one in my RX300 about a month ago...I haven't listened to regular radio since.
