Xm Radio Options For Rx 400h ?

Has anyone done any analysis or comparison on the VAIS versus the Factory Interactive XM Radio solution as far as features, functionality, sound quality ? -
I just received my 400h but since it sat on the lot for a month or so it probably could use the NAV update ... How do I go about finding about what version I am currently running ?
