Slammed: Put it in a vice, gently compress it, insert an expendable drill bit into the hole, all the way through. Use a bit that is the biggest that you can fit through the hole, as it will have the most strength. Mount the tensioner completely, pull on the belt a little to put force against the tensioner & pull the drill rod out, using vice grips if necessary. Done...... Im sorry i dont have a clue what you just said can you explain it alittle more please. anybody got an idea how to do it??

i can only push the little button thingy that goes up when you turn the crank so much but its still not enough to bolt it on. is there any trick or something yall did to put it back on?

Hey i was wondering if yall know how to fix the gas gauge for a 91 ls400? i read the lexls was doing a tourtial but i cant find it. My gauge isnt reading correct so any help would be great. THanks in advance. ;)

The battery is good i and its the right one i just dont have a clue what it could be.

My battery on my 92 ls keeps dieing thing is that the alternator is good fuisble link is good. What else could it be. I get the battery charged and a couple of days later boom its dead again. Any help would be great. ;)

THanks alot. Well i tested them and there fine but the problem im having is that my battery keeps dieing the the alternator is good what else could it be? should i just replace the fusible link or what else should i do?

Also is there another fuisble link under the car like somwere in the postive cable wire? for the charging system.

This is on my ohter ls400. its a 92. The alt is good battery good but when i went to get it tested it said check cable? made sure the plugs where all good on the alt. but still said check cable then they said maybe its the fuisble link but if its the one in the engine bay this one look at "attachment." the white one i put a tester up to it. the one where you touch it with a screwdriver type thing and the light lights up. and i did and the light lit up so i dont know what could it be is there anyother kinds? and do i test with the car on or of? cause i tested it with it off when the light came on. so any help would be great thanks alot.

the steering wheel in my '94 Ls400 will not move up or down it makes a gear grinding sound but it does move in and out. i thought it could be the steering motor, but i dont really know. does anyone know what it could be or how to check the motor?

No leaks. 100k no idea about fuel filter. I have a question when the car starts it smells like fuel bad from the exhaust tips. Im thininking the plugs and wires need to be changed right? But i would like more help about the not staying on part.

I replace it because it was bad. Funny thing is now i went to go work on it a boom started right up yeah i had the battery disconnected when installing the new one. but any other ideas?

Hi i drive a 94 lexus ls400 and i replaced the alternator and the accessory belt and everything started up fine but now it wont stay on. i turn it over and it stays on for a half second or less. i mad sure the two clips are in the alternator nice and snug. i dont think its the battery since it cranks over. what could it be? It turns over and dies. No sputtering or high reving just on then off.

I have a 1994 ls400 and everytime i apply the breaks the headlights dim. I couldnt find anything on this and was wondering if anyone can help or had the same problem? thanks alot.

Yeah i just need the center cap i they are real 2piece i was just wonder where i can find the center cap at. the rim has no name on it what soever

i couldnt find anything on the search but where could you find the center caps for these rims? some punk stole mine and i cant find them anywhere thanks alot.
