  1. Well I have my 400H back. The good news is that it was an easy fix. There was a bad connection from the Aux battery that they did not notice at first. They charged it back up and reset the electronics and even the stereo works again! They have no idea what caused the sound to turn off, but once everything was reset, it was fine. Unfortunately I lost all my destination points on the Nav and my overall MPG is gone (it was at 26.1). At least my radio presets were still there!
  2. I'll let you know when I find out. I wish I could say that this was the first time something has gone wrong with my 400h. Although in 13k miles, this is the first time it had to be towed in. It has been in the shop for a defective center console, defective rain sensor, the hard drive on the Nav failed and had to be totaly replaced. I still have squeeks and rattles that they have yet to fix. I'm driving a new 330 while it is in the shop, and although I miss the power of the 400h, to have a total quiet ride into work this morning was a real treat.
  3. Lexus had to have my car towed away this morning. The problem first of having no sound per my earlier post, now has progressed to my 400h having no power at all. The dealer has called and so far they have ruled out the battery, but there is no power going to any of the accessories or to start the car. My neighbors got a kick this morning seeing my new $50k hybrid on the back of a flatbed.
  4. Thanks, but the situation has gone from bad to worse over the weekend. I was out of town the last 2 days so this morning I went to start the car, and nothing...not even a little click of the engine trying to start, no lights on the dash, nothing on the nav screen. I don't know if the sound issue was the start of something else or the cause, but now I don't know if it is safe to have it jumped or just have it towed to the Lexus dealer. Just glad my wife is not working today, so I had her car to get to work almost on time....will be calling Lexus shortly.
  5. I've tried different nav screens, trip menu, service menu...nothing. It's like there is an invisable mute button. I'll keep trying, worst case, the dealer will just have to figure it out next week.
  6. Yesterday when I went to leave the house, my ML stereo looked like it was operating...I could change channels and load a CD, but the volume reading did not show up on the screen, nor was any sound coming from the speakers. I tried both the volume knob and the control on the stearing wheel....nothing. The navagation voice is working, but the the "beep" you normally hear when pressing the voice command button does not work either. Very strange. My dealer cannot see the car until next Thursday, so I'm hoping someone here will have a quick fix. Need those traffic reports in the Bay area!! Thanks!!
  7. I have battled that rattle as well, and my dealer finally found it. It was the rear license plate frame. They put some thick padded tape around it, and now it's fine. I still get noise from the front passenger seat belt banging against the seat. Still have not found a way to stop that one.
