    even though u have been using a blend of both oils there is a slight chance which can never be eliminated though i might be wrong

    and also since these engines are succeptable to gelling or sludge

    why take the chance of prolonging the duration between oil changes

    i would rather make it shorter time duration between oil changes like 3000 miles

    but then we are all just yapping about our opinions arent we

  2. I've always wondered in this situation if the shop that the vehicle was taken to for repairs/maintenance is legally responsible for the repairs for adding the incorrect type of fluid. If a repair shop replaced my fuel pump and added diesel instead of gas to the tank, I'd be pointing the finger at them.

    You can definately do that

    try it maybe they will pay for all the repairs

  3. hey Guys hadnt had a chance to get the OBD2 Scan done but the check engine light came back on yesterday so got it done at autozone P0171

    was the code they say its either the O2 sensor or clean MAF sensor vaccum leak is also a possiblity, soooooo many possibilities .

    I am going to clean the MAF sensor with electrical cleaner is that good

    what else should i try
