Hello, My wife's 04 RX330 is nearing the end of the factory warranty. It has about 30K miles. I am looking for a good extended warranty and would like to get some suggestions. Lexus is offering an extended warranty (7 yrs/ 75K miles) for approximately $1800 (after a $200 off coupon). I am yet to call warranydirect.com and the other warranty companies. I understand inclusionary and exclusionary type warranties etc., and that these things come with a bunch of complications and not covered items. Any suggestions? good experiences? Thanks Kamz dealers offering an extended warranty for about $1800(7year/75k mile) means that they believe they can make profits with the price offered which means you are more likely to end up losing money.

thanks rx330driver just got the tips from toyota owners club forum and it worked 1)turn ignition key to ON and press the odometer button until the display reads actual mileage 2)turn ignition key to OFF 3)hold in the same button you used in step 1, while holding the button in,turn ignition key to ON the "maint reqd" light should blink and go out

04 RX330 AWD with 66K miles 60K service done change oil/fluid regularly maintenance required light on today why is that? cant figure that out opinion/advice highly appreciated

thank you for your reply and yes, it wont let me shift down. The lever seems to be blocked until a couple of minutes later. I pulled the lever with force only one time. It's something you dont want to do it again. I bought this car with 60K miles on it, so there is no warranty. Would you let me know how to "remove the safety thing with a coin" thanks

My car is a 2004 RX330. After starting the engine(particularly early in the morning) I usually have difficulty shifting the selector lever from P to R. I have to wait until the engine idle for a couple of minutes. Can anybody tell my why is that? Opinion/advice highly appreciated.

Thanks Mike. I am going to install a performance air filter to replace the conventional one. The performance air filter is said to be able to help the engine "breathe" better. I know where the air filter box is but I dont know how to open it.
