I found out that the nav computer AND the video switch (connected to the backup camera) is located below the trunk to the right side.

Dunno the wire harness pin description though.

I'm a little bit of a purist and don't like making modificatiosn

to listen to my I-Pod through the RX sound system (Nakamichi

I think) , but is there anyway that I can connect the I-Pod to

the 2000 RX stereo system without changing the look of the

interior of the vehicle (though the glovebox CD changer perhaps?)

Has anyone done this before?

You also might check out Make magazine - a mag that helps people modify things in non-conventional ways. The current issue has an iPod integration in it, I think, and I know they have some electronic car mods in it.

I found iCarPlay Wireless FM to be the best solution so far. This will charge the ipod and has a FM transmitter.

Just got a new RX330 but can not figure out how to add phone number, and addresses

from the NAV console.

Tried adding phone numbers from Blackberry 7100g bluetooth but that did not work.

I see phone book1 and book2. When I go to add number and a name the menus are "blued" out. The car is not moving at this time.
