  1. first things to check on the "sluggish" issue... 1. air filter 2. spark plugs 3. buy a gallon of denatured alcohol and put it in the tank before filling up next time, or you can buy a very good fuel injector cleaner/octane booster additive... just be sure you put it in BEFORE filling up... oil changes will rarely affect performance noticeably... so long as you aren't WAY past due... and if you can, have someone do an oil system flush and start putting in amsoil(best synthetic on the market) in both your engine and transmission. before doing this though make sure that there are no signs of oil buildup on the engine... as this is a sign that your gaskets are worn out... and as soon as you run synthetic in it you WILL start LEAKING oil as it will clean all the gunk out like you wouldn't believe... i made that mistake on a 97 thunderbird... hah...
  2. being that lexus' are made by toyota and anything that toyota makes you can bet on... just like honda/acura... but with a little more class... while it is a new car, the engine is not new, and toyota knows how to do awd, this has been proven on MANY previous models... i wouldn't worry one bit... they are also some of the best backed cars in the industry... even if they don't just "give away" their 100,000mi/10yr warranties like other car companies do just to "get you in the door," so to speak... enjoy your new ride! _benjammin
  3. Torque converter is a good choice... you will notice a difference on those between light jet sets... srt is the highest performing intake for this car also... i am planning on buying their stage2.5 boost kit... you won't be dissapointed! _benjammin
