  1. Hi, Yes always garaged and for the last few years hardly out of the garage. It has not had much service but I can get all the records. I had the extended Lexus factory warranty that recently ran out so Lexus has the records other than oil changes and front end alignment checks that were done at Firestone. I use Mobile 1 and a Mobile 1 oil filter every 5K miles or less (If I am not driving much I change the oil based on date) That said I have an interested party but not sure if they are going to follow thru (but I need to give them a few day to see); we should definitely speak.
  2. This car is one of the 400 Pebble Beach Edition SC430s made by Lexus in 2007. I (and the car) are located in N. Scottsdale AZ. The 2007 SC430 Pebble Beach Edition is styled after a 1950's "James Dean" Corvette. Deep pearl white paint (this is not the standard Lexus white paint), red leather seats and birds eye maple wood trim that is aniline dyed black (red and black interior). Comes with all available options including factory Mark Levinson Audio, GPS, and heated seats. You can read more about this limited edition car at ClubLexus forums "The Definitive SC430 Special Edition Thread" Carefully adult driven, Arizona car (e.g. dry, no sea spray or salt on the roads), garaged , no wrecks; looks and drives like new. Mobile 1 oil and filter changed every 5,000 miles. Tires, brakes... everything in perfect condition. I have owned the car since December 2008. The car is in excellent e.g. like new condition (paint, seats, carpet, mechanical .... everything!). The original floor mats, manuals, 1st aid kit are included plus 4 keys (2 regular, 1 valet and 1 key blade). I also have a custom made, fitted, rear seat cover (naugahyde) that matches the factory red leather interior. Thanks for looking, Ron
  3. Hi I use the M1-102 on both our RX330 and SC430, no issues here. Just changed the RX330 oil on Monday too. Sounds sort of fishy too me, did you try to thread it yourself? Sounds like the M1-102 was cross threaded.
  4. Hi We have a 2004 RX330, 117,000 miles. Recently, when you get in the car and the power tilt/telescoping steering wheel swings into position it has started groaning. I had been told a while ago that this is a symptom of having to replace the power tilt/telescope steering column motor. Does anyone know if there is a way to repair or lube? I would like to get a few 1000 more mile from this car before we start spending big $$ on repairs. Any tips on where to get a deal on the part or if you can buy rebuild or used? Thanks Ron
  5. Hi I am looking to save some $$ on getting a new remote master for a 2007 SC430. Seems the 2007 SC430 is harder to program; has anyone done it without going to a dealer? Thanks Ron
  6. Any hints on how to install 82670-48050? I need this for my '04 RX330 I got the #3500 Lexus OEM hitch for $265+tax. It's sitting in my garage right now, haven't had time to install it. The OEM hitch in my opinion looks the nicest, some of the non-Lexus hitches have an ugly rectangular box/cage around the exhaust. ← speedy...Thanks for the info. I called the local Lexus dealer, parts dept. The guy I talked to said that the hitch for the 400h is the same as the one for the 330. The Lexus part number is PT22848045 and the cost is $332.72 plus tax. If you want the hitch installed, the total is $617.72 plus tax. If you got hitch PT22848045 for $265, you got a deal. Did you purchase yours at the dealer or online?? bainse...I'll check out the drawtite hitch as well. ← I got my PT22848045 at a dealer. Different dealers have different prices, it definitely pays to shop around. I was told a bunch of different prices: $265, $295, $410, $440 for the part. Labor varied from $230-$300. I plan to keep my hitch off most of the time (for fuel economy) and put it on only when I take a trip with my bicycles. ← speedyq...My brother wants to get the Lexus hitch. He asked about a wiring harness. Did you have to purchase some type of wiring harness along with the hitch??? Is a separate wiring harness required to hook up trailer lights?? Thanks. ← ← The converter 82670-48050 is only required for vehicles without the tow package. The hitch PT228-48045 comes with the wiring harness. If you install by yourself you'll need a torque wrench and 12mm, 14mm, and 15mm sockets. ←
  7. Any hints on how to install 82670-48050 I need to add this to my RX330 for my trailer lights Thanks Ron
