After raising my hood to do a fluid check, I noticed that my silver Lexus emblem on the engine cover was missing. My dealer said that this was vandalism and they would not cover this under warranty. I checked on the part, and the emblem cannot be purchased alone through dealers. The cost of the engine cover with emblem is $136. Does anyone know of another outlet where the emblem only may be purchased. :(

Recently I took my 2000 GS300 in for warranty service. When disengaging the cruise control by pressing on the brake pedal, I felt that there was too much pedal travel before the cruise did in fact disengage. The service writer told me that the cruise was working properly and to make the adjustment I requested would involve re programming the computer, and they were reluctant to do this. Any feedback on this item will be greatly appreciated. HJ :)
