  1. I recently purchased a new 2005 RX330. Within a few days, upon starting the motor I heard a groaning sound. Also, upon using the AC, the groaning got louder. The dealer checked the vehicle and said it needed a new compressor. It's under warranty but I don't like it because it's brand new. I don't believe a new vehicle with a few hundred miles should need such a repair/replacement. I'll let you know how it turns out. ← The service records for ours show that the technician pulled TSIB AC002-04 and performed the TSB because he found that it was needed. not exactly sure what was done - but the parts were only $38.95 (protector, cooler and clamp)..Ours doesn't make the sound all the time....it seems like it's mostly when we have been driving at highway speeds and then slow down to a stop sign... the correction was listed on our service bill as TSIBAC002-04 OPAC4001 T1-91 T2-40 OPN88892-OE010 (whatever all that means!)
  2. We just purchased a certified RX330 and it has a soft groaning sound coming from the dash at times when the car is slowing down or when we are traveling at low speed. from the service records it looks like this was a problem earlier listed as TSIB AC-002-04...has anyone else had or heard of this problem and gotten it fixed? Thanks! mark
