The dealership states the Power Steering Control Unit (which is a computer) is probably at fault. Since this seems to be very unusual, a team from Lexus will replace the unit tomorrow, and try to find out why this happened. Hope this remedies the problem and it doesn't recur.

Yesterday evening while backing out of a parking place the power steering failled. Could barely turn the wheel. Able to get home, checked the fuse but it was OK. Now awaiting Roadside Service to take to dealership on flatbed. Holiday weekend and planning on a road trip next week. Anyone else have this problem?
