From what I read, the black box above the rear view contains a camera that reads and translates the moisture on the windshield. If you stand outside your vehicle and pass your hand over it, the wipers will go on. I found that my headliner was not put back quite right after the Sirius install. The headliner, which is molded plastic, was not tucked back to where it was originally. The headliner was pushing against the camera unit (black box), and causing pressure against it, which would activate the wipers......All is well again in auto-wiper world.

Mine just started to act crazy. I noticed that they go on when I turn. Also if I grab the camera unit above the rear view they will activate. It started the same day I had my Sirius radio installed. I wonder if it has something to do with it, or just a coincedence?

I'm looking to get a Sirius radio. The installation seems pretty straightforward. I'm wondering if anyone has run the satellite antenna from the inside to outside the vehicle? How were you able to channel the antenna wire to the outside?

Mine does it too, and yes I believe it is a true safety concern. When I'm trying to change lanes or any time I need that extra 'umphh', it isn't there right away, and it scares me a bit. My wifes GS does the same thing but the engine revs a whole lot before it slowly picks up. Thanks for the information on the tweaks that the dealer can do.

Hey there! I was wondering if anyone else has the Invision headrest DVD player? If so are you aware of any unit that will fit in the headrest that plays DVD-R software? I have a lot of recorded DVD's that will not play in the unit.
