I need help my steering wheel did 360 rotation after hearing a snapping noise , I took my column apart and seen the gears that connect from the shaft the the wheel had broke witch gave my wheel a lot of free play n also wouldn’t steer my wheels , could someone tell me if I can replace the gear or if I have to replace the whole column and if I do have to replace the whole column where could I possibly find one for a 92/93 ls400 with memory tilt I’m struggling to find anything so any help would be greatly appreciated

so if anyone can help me it would mean the world I have a 93 ls400 my the gears in my steering column snapped while sliding and now my steering wheel dose a complete 360 rotations and the wheels will not move I know it’s the gears I tore the column some what apart but can someone tell me can I replace the gear can I rebuild it with a 96 steering column I have , any ideas would help .
