I have a 2003 Lexus LX470 - I have a s starting issue which no one has been able to diagnose - not even Lexus mechanics. It’s a mystery - not the battery, not the key, not the starter. This is an intermittent issue. Once car is on it never turns off.
When I turn the key it makes the sound of almost turning on but it doesn’t. It has nothing to do with the cranking it just has to do with that initial sound a car makes before the engine turns on. I’ve gone 3 months without an issue then out of the blue, it doesn’t start. I wait a couple of minutes, hours nothing.
mechanics have not been able to replicate the issue. I’ve sent videos and still nothing. Anyone ever experienced this? Appreciate any insight.
