What is the story with the LX 450's alarm? It constantly goes off when I leave the truck and come back and open one of the doors. I am not arming it, is there a way to prevent this from happening? Also my alarm does not "chirp" when arming and disarming. I read in another thread that the device is located on the dirivers side fender but I was unable to locate it. Can anyone give me a better description of the device and tell me how much it would cast to replace? Thanks for you time.

I am in the process of purchasing a 1997 LX 450 from an out of state dealer. He mailed me some pictues one of which is of the engine compartment. It appears to have some type of moisture on the hood liner, any ideas of what would cause this besides the flooding scenereo? The car was titled in Maryland for it's life so I do not believe it to be a Katrina casualty. Any Ideas? I can e-mail you the picture if that would help I was not able to attach it to the post. Does anyone have any information on putting a front hitch on a 1997 LX 450. I am going to upgrade from my 4Runner which had an aftermarket hitch on the front. I have had some problems locating one which I see as strange for 4 wheeler with no place to put a winch. If anyone has an idea where I could find one I would be gratefull. Thanks
