  1. Thanks for the advice. I went to a body shop the first time I experienced a water problem. Water was coming in through the moon roof (clogged weep holes). This is quite different. I can't figure out how the water got into the rims (when are elevated above the floor of the trunk).
  2. Hi I have a puzzling problem with water in the spare tire compartment of my RX350. My car windshield was clouding up at night when it was getting cold which mean condensation from water inside the car. We had recently had a similar problem with blocked weep holes and overflow in the front passenger cabin. I cleaned those out and had all the carpets dried out. The problem returned after taking it to Lexus. The weep holes were still clear and the carpets were dry. I couldn't find the problem. I recently went into the tire compartment in the back to get our tire lock and saw that there was a small lake of water in the tire rim and the rest of the compartment had what looked like condensation. I pulled everything apart and checked the seals abound the tailgate door - they looked good. I opened it up to dry out. Last nigh it rained... no water leaked in. I can't figure out how the water got into the tire rim when it's covered by a fiberglass top under the back carpet. The back carpet was bone dry. Has anyone seen anything like this before or have any idea what might be happening?
