Just bought a 2008 gx470 and started experiencing what I think is the clunk TSB issue. (Have read the sticky). My question is: Why would it be the drive shaft, if jerk/bang is felt when the vehicle is stopped/ideling at a traffic light? I can understand if the vehicle was about to be set in motion. Can someone explain?

I have the same problem. Fees like a bump and the idle at stop varies from 1k to 500. Sounds like something turns on and turns off. Have you found out what it is?
