Hi All,
Been having an odd issue with my 99 RX300 AWD that I cannot figure out.
Runs and drives great, no codes, no cel, no stored codes, have removed battery, new fluid and filter no tranny slipping or rough shifting but issue remains.
The issue is, at random times, it doesn’t want to shift at normal RPM’s, and randomly affects different gears.
Sometimes when it’s cold there is no issue, other times it delays out of 1st, 2nd or 3rd etc until 3-4000 rpm.
Other times no issue when warm then same thing, random high RPM’s before it shifts.
Sometimes it won’t shift at all, regardless of RPM then after a minute or so, it shifts smoothly.
No overdrive issues or anything - just this random shifting issue.
Only other thing is sometimes under power when having issue it rumbles and the exhaust smells rich - but when shifting normal - no rumble or rich exhaust.
I am lost.
Any thoughts?
