Hi, I have a strange problem with my is250 where the main headlights are stuck pointing "downwards" in front of the car so they don't project out front and give me the visibility I need at night. They don't extend their light much beyond the distance the fog lights provide. I think maybe this is an issue with the "adaptive" headlight system?
I know the headlight motors work because the other day they did a kind of diagnostic when I turned the car on where they pointed up and then back down again, but they just went back to being pointed downwards after that. Could this be some kind of sensor issue? I bought a replacement bumper for the front of the car without the port for sensors because I thought that was referring to parking sensors, which my model doesn't have, but maybe it blocked the sensors for the headlights as well?
Any help y'all can provide would be much appreciated since I'm stumped on what's going on.
