Generally speaking ... on almost ANY forum you may ask for answers ... chances are you'll not get a reasonable response to your question. Most often you will get answers to the question people "think" you asked, or they will share information with you that you NEVER asked for because they want to prove how intelligent they are about a topic they "wished" you had asked about. On rare occasions, such as the one above from RX400h, you will get that rare and specific answer to your original inquiry. Try doing it on ANY MICROSOFT troubleshooter forum ... you will see what I mean.

I have a 2010 RX350. As of yesterday morning, the LOCK button on the key-fob appears to have quit functioning AT ALL. I did a remote start, and that worked just fine, and that was the final time that it did anything. I didn't notice anything until I arrived at my destination and tried to lock the car. Didn't work. No lock ... no remote start ... nada. Everything (all other buttons) are doing what they are supposed to do the way they should. I replaced the battery last evening, however, the problem remained. If you have any ideas regarding this issue, I would love to hear what they are. Is it possible to "reset" the fob to its original settings? Thanks for your assistance.
