  1. yup. the right software tool... or the right process, but so far I do not see a manual process for the remote portion.
  2. I bought this one.. but I think the shell is not oem. The only thing interchangeable is the electronics inside.. which is all I needed. I am 100% certain but I think the metal key on the oem fob and the aftermarket ones, seem to be fastened really hard to the back of the Fob. So, I could not figure out a way to move my metal key to the new fob. So I had to use my older oem fob. And I thought about using just the front part of the fob with the back of the oem fober (which has the metal key attached) BUT they didnt seem to mate up very well. So, I just only used the electronics in the device and the old fob shell (front and back) btw, I may have to get Techstream or another handheld unit to program the "remote" portion on this 2007 RX350. https://www.ebay.com/itm/352535305456?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2649 I just noticed the auction has Zero left. But the seller is Seller information remotewholesale (116526)
  3. I got the immobilizer working on the 2nd key. Turns out the Ebay remote that I bought did not have the Key ID or immobilizer chip in it! So I had to buy another remote. crazy. Now I am just looking for the process to add the remote control portion ... I have used 2 different ones that I found on the internet, and neither works.
  4. I got the Immobilizer on the new fob programmed into the vehicle and it starts the car.. But still looking for the programming procedure for the remote. I have tried 2 of the processes and neither one works. The RX350 does not respond by flipping the door locks and neither process works.. bummer!
  5. Thanks for the PDF! I am trying to figure out which process to use, or more specially, if I need to use a "intelligent tester" to add a 2nd Key to the current master key. My 2nd key is LIKE the master key. Meaning it has a remote and they look alike. But they always refer to the master key as "THE" master key. So is there only 1 master key? And everything else is "additional"? I ask because the process for adding an "additional" key appears to require an "intelligent tester" or programmer of some kind.. Either way, I bought a $12 remote from Ebay and it's not working. When I use the manual method to add a 2nd master key, I insert the key into the ignition on the 5th time and then open and close the driver door 6 times, I put the new key in and the security light stayed on constant as it should, but then it immediately started flashing code 2-1. And that means the Code was not received. So I do not know why it is not received.. It doesn't say how to fix the issue. It just says "not received". So either there are too many keys already programmed, or I am using the wrong method, such as the manual method wont work, Or I can have only 1 master key... OR the Ebay remote is not sending the code... But it has a new battery in it.. So I have no idea what is wrong
  6. Hello.. I am trying to program a 2nd key fob. I found the instructions to insert an already programmed key into ignition... Leave the ignition off.. press the gas 5 times, then press the brake 6 times....etc.. but it is not working.. So, does a 2007 RX350 require Techstream? Or can I do it manually? If manually, what is the process? thanks in advance!
