  1. Nothing? Unhooked battery negative for a hour and everything's reset, scanner still won't communicate with the engine or transmission ecus says recycle ignition
  2. Right first off i am a mechanic I have found that the exhaust has holes in various places, i've patched these up with paste to see if the o2 sensors are causing PCM issues, this doesn't seem to have rectified the issue the scanner we have at work is a modus snap on unit, its pretty rubbish and at the minute wont even communicate with the Transmission or Engine ECU's is this normal? - obviously not but we don't see many of these lexus' over here, never mind ones with FAULTS i have seen the warm vehicle up, remove negative battery terminal and leave to reset for a while, i'm about to try that now between lunch and home time. will update if it works. fault seems to come and go as and when it pleases, and if i leave the car long enough the fault drops off without even clearing the code ive checked the ABS sensors and all look fine, and doesn't seem like its had wheel bearings or anything related recently
