You must like the NEW Smell judging by the selection of those cars you own. Jesus. :D

How does it feel having everything you want =p

Are you planning on upgrading to BMW li 760, that thing is v12 almost 500 hp. Unbelievable machine. As for the new LS 430, how does it feel? I am planning on getting one in a year or two....Are you impressed with its comfort and performance?

As for me, my favorite smell inside the car is when I open the windows on a 70 degree day, let the soothing fresh breeze comfort me as I am cruising on the highway.

  2. Hello, most of the latest audio cd decks have an ipod port build in. You can do more research to see what you like and what best fits you here. Just an example of a cd deck that has that feature.

*Compatible with iPod, iPod mini or iPod photo with dock connector. KCA-420i Adapter (not included) required; requires iPod software, 2.2 or higher or iPod mini software, 1.1 or higher, available at Apple.com Note: Not compatible with iPod shuffle,

You will need that adapter most likely if you choose to use your old cd audio deck for your car. Lexus audio system is usually Lexus factory made, so I think your going to have to look into your lexus dealer to see if they can give you a special port for the ipod. What I did was I removed the front audio cd/tape system, rewired the front dashboard and put on a brand new cd deck.

The sound is crystal clear by the way, and its the best way to listen to your music. Just think about never burning another cd. EVER. :D

    Good Luck

  3. Well I have never been inside an LS 430, but the configuration on my LS 400 is terrific. The leather is not hard and not soft. Very enjoyable interior especially, those who tend to ride in the back.

Have you tried adjusting your seats maybe for your back so you can maybe have some free space sitting and moving around while your driving? That's what I did and on cars like these there is plenty of room. As for the leather part, most people would prefer leather over cloth.

  4. Male, 45 years old

In 1978 i attended Providence College. In 1982 (i was 22yrs old) i met my wife; a beautiful freshman (LOL) who was studying law, and we quickly got married and had our first son, Brian.

In 1986 my wife and i had our first daughter, kate. I also graduated from PC in 1986 and later went to Boston College. I became an oral Surgeon in Rhode Island in the same office along with my brother in-law. On May 3rd of 1990 our second daughter, Ali was born. On May 5th i purchased my first Lexus Ls400!!

In 2001 i found out that i no longer liked being a doctor so i moved on to becoming a pharmacist in MA. This is what i am currently doing (and loving every minute of it ;) !)  just a little about me  ;)

Every Car "I" have owned in my life:

    1988-1995        1988 Volvo 240 (dark blue/ivory)

    1995-2003        1995 BMW 316i (grayish-blue/ivory)

When my son Brian turned 16 in 2001 i bought him a used 1998 Volvo S70. In 2003 when he turned 20, i bought him an 03 LS430. He still has it today.

In 2004 when my first daughter, Kate turned 18 we gave her the S70. In 04 i got her a 2004 ES330, silver on black.

So there is pretty much my whole life story LOL  Overall, Lexus is the best car i have ever owned. I wont go to anything else now.

Sounds like you have a beautiful family. :)

I have a question, you have every car in your sig right now ?

If so, those are some excellent vehicles, describe how you would best categorize your cars as far as

    1. Power

    2. Comfort

    4. Speed

    5. Smoothness

    Thanks. :)

  5. Congratulations. Your car is a beauty. Enjoy it, its one of the most prestige cars you can possibly drive. :)

By the way, Did you fix the problem with your CD Player. For me it read error because a previous owner locked the 3 digit number password which you have to enter to access the system. I think you get 5 tries, if all the passwords are incorrect the system shuts down and gives you an error sign. I had that problem, then I took it out with a lexus dealer they told me to reactivate it would be about 100 bucks. Instead I just decided to remove the front cd player face, and put a standard cd player without using a cd changer. The whole rewiring and putting on the new cd player cost me about 200 bucks.

    Good luck and Enjoy.

  6. I have a check engine light on, I took it out with the mechanic last week he said its a common problem but not a major one at all. I had it for about 2 months. All you have to do is run the system through their computer in the shop and your good to go. The diagnosis are certainly not bad. Maybe a glitch in the Lexus system.

  7. ES 300 series is not faster. * if you are comparting the same year of the car but different models *

If you drove an LS 400 v8 250 horse power you will see how powerful the take really is.

I am glad you enjoyed its performance as far as comfort and acceleration goes. :)

I have never drove an ES300 but my friend owns it, its a smaller car, little tighter if you want to get around. Very good looking car though. One place that the ES300 comes up short is in the headroom department. There just isn't a lot of it in this car, especially when equipped with a moonroof. Even sub-six-footers can brush the roof in front. In the back, forget it. The engine on the ES300 is also quieter.

  8. Read this

    http://www.apaqdigital.com/ls400/ls400_guide.htm

Buying LS 400 1992 model is a great deal especially with 57k Miles. I own an LS400 1992, the car is a dream. The car is so smooth and powerful you will see a difference between a Lexus and a Nissan. Believe me you wont regret it. But like I said first check if the engine is good, check what's under the hood first. Also, i drove a 93, 94 its the same exact thing. They made some interior modifications but everything is the same. My suggestion is go with the 92.

    Good Luck with everything. :)

  9. Well I dont know if there is a difference between crystal and white turning lights but I found out recently that both of my turning lights, the original orange ones are bit cracked. So I am deciding to replace them. Since they are also screwed on, its a simple procedure.

Before doing that I want to verify with you guys who knows more about this.

    1. Is there a difference between clear or white turning lights? Which one is better.

    2. How much would they cost me for a pair ( 2 )

    3. Where can I get them. I was thinking about a local car shop because quite frankly I dont want to buy anything from ebay as far as this stuff goes, because what's the worst thing that can happen, size, shape, and incompatibility in general.

    4. Legality issue, usually they dont care about tints here in NY, or based on my knowledge my friend is lucky because he never got a single ticket for his 30% tints. So I was thinking if that can give me problems.

    Thanks. :)

  10. Yeah I actually took 2 spots 2-3 times and I saw no cars near me because they couldn't even figure out what to do.

You guys right, someone might get *BLEEP*ed, but then again its a lexus who would dear to touch my baby. :D

  11. Damn bro yeah I know what you mean. Most people dont appreciate nice cars so they just swing their doors left and right. The thing is if there is a dent that's not really deep you can take care of it. Your looking at 50 bucks here ;)

I have parking spots on my college campus, so I just take up 2 spots to take care of that problem. :)
