  1. My 400H pairs o.k. with my Sprint samsung A940 and seems to work o.k.

As I am driving occasionally the radio or Nav is interupted with the incoming call window which quickly flashes off.

Is this because the phone service is dropping and reacquiring or this a quirk from the phone or Sprint?

calling out works o.k as does answering through the car system, even with the dialing out limitations!

    Anyone else notice this problem?

We are experiencing the same issues with the new SAMSUNG A900 and Sprint - requires turning BT off on phone and re-enabling it.

  2. Does anyone have a reference for touch up paint for the standard rims on the R400h? Hit a curb and would like to touch up the blemish.

    Thanks.

Have you tried the parts dept. at your dealership?

Thanks for the suggestion - yes they replied that there is no touch up paint for the rims. Please let u sknow if you learn something different.

  3. Just changed the oil on my RX400h (1500 miles) and I was told by the Roseville Lexus Delaer that the oil filters are the same as those for the RX330 and may be purchased from Lexus, Toyota or online. Toyota Part Number 08922-02011.

    KMKE...thanks for the post.

I'm curious why you changed the oil at only 1500 miles, what oil you used and who did the work (you or dealer)?? Many thanks.

Always replace oil after first 1000 to 2000 miles - just a habit. Used Castrol GTX - did the oil change myself.

  6. been receiving and calling on my treo 650 bluetooth for 3 days now in our rx400...while driving too

While my treo 650 (Sprint) senses the RX400H BT - the Lexus will not connect. Who is your carrier and did you have to do anything special to the 650 working with it?

    Thanks for your help.

  7. We've got over 600 miles on our RX400 - average 24 to 25 mpg - we are disappointed that the gas motor runs so much - regardless of how gingerly we accelerate - and the batteries are never fully charged.

Average trip roughly 20 miles - frequent start and stop. We were led to believe that once warmed up - all electric up to 30 mph - not our experience.

We are also surprised to see how often the electic is engaged - were told that anything over 55 was purely gas unless slippage in the drivetrain or a heavy acceleration demand. Set the cruise - level road, and the electric comes in and out without any sense of why. Clearly some tuning issues we are hoping are computer programmable.

Other than this we love the car - traded a 2004 RX330 that average 20-21 mpg.
