hey guys can u believe after getting my knock sensors, gaskets with harness replaced my car is still not working because it has loss of power.i mean after pressing on the gas my car goes nowhere the mechanic says this is due to my car burning oil and gas mixed together which is causing smoke from my exhaust pipe which smells like carbon monoxide.they tell me they cant fix it and suggest i go the junkyard find a new engine or get a new car.this is some bull*BLEEP* $361 dollars down the drain for the parts and my car still isnt fixed there has to be another way too much money has been put into my car now.guys i need major help is there a chance my car can be repaired without being screwed again please help?

yeah my check engine light is on also and i had my car check by two mechanics and they both said the same thing i need to replace the knock sensors,gaskets, and vacuum hoses are loose that could be causing the problem.

yeah guys your right it has nothing to do with me changing my gas just bad coincedence i guess.i went to see a mechanic and got my engine diagnostic test it seems that i need 2 knock sensors,gaskets,and some vacuum hoses are loose so that may be the problem thats causing smoke from my exhaust.The knock sensors are expensive though cost about $158 a piece plus with labor cost they quoted me to fix is about $500-$600 dollars.To me it seems like good deal what do u guys think? ok i have a 93 es 300 i was putting 91octane premium gas in my car then made a mistake put 89octane plus and car hasnt been the same since.i noticed knocking/pinging from the engine,loss of acceleration, the heavy vibrating while i drive and lots of smoke from my exhaust pipe which smells like a loud smell of carbon gas.also the car shuts off if its when i stop and im not moving for like 5mins.this has become a real pain in the !Removed! and i need suggestions on how to get my car back to its best performance running again so please guys can u help me with your expertise?

ok guys as u know my 93 es 300 is still overheating i have replaced my radiator and with new hoses.Unfortunately, i still havent solved the problem there are no obvious leaks the water pump is ok and the fan is running at normal speeds.The only other thing that can possibly be wrong that they tell me is blown head gasket or i need a thermostat.But the thing is i never had a thermostat to begin with when i bought the car 2months ago now overheating problem starts.My question is the thermostat really that important too have? because thats the only thing i can think of besides the head gasket and god knows i hope thats not the problem.So please!!! help me with your expertise on a possible solution guys?

i have a 93 es 300 and just recently my car has overheated.i noticed that the hose that runs from my radiator to my coolant tank broke so i had to buy another hose from the lexus dealership.i thought that was the problem because there are no obvious leaks but the car still overheats when i step on the gas the check light comes on.The meter also skyrockets pass the red line on the thermostat and when i lift up the hood my coolant is boiling out of the tank and smoke comes from the radiator cap.I forgot to mention that the fan which cools the engine is working too so i cant figure out whats the problem.I have a quick question that needs to be answered would it be safe to put engine coolant inside the radiator? because i have done that before didnt know if it was safe to do so or not.

ok guys heres my situation i recently just bought a 93' es 300 with 150mik.The car looks great on the outsides its just that the interior is lacking. i just got my leather done which fairly looks new compared to how damaged it looked from previous owner.what needs work is my carpet, dashboard, and door panels which doesnt look new at all.i've tried to vaccum with the use of armor all cleaning products but it still doesnt give that new car look to it that im trying to get.please!!!! guys im totally clueless on what to do next any tips and suggestions will do.hope to hear from u all soon.
