  1. If you had a defective steering angle sensor or wheel speed sensor you'd likely also have a service engine or other system indicator light present. More than likely you have a bad left front brake caliper or hydraulic hose causing the lock-up. These GX's are known for front caliper problems.
  2. Yes. No rust or corrosion anywhere due to spending it's entire life up to this point in New Mexico. My uncle is a retired airline pilot who also has his own plane. Very fussy and all about maintenance "by the book."
  3. 2008 GX470 with 135,000 miles on it here. One "family" ownership. Always garaged and dealer maintained when purchased from my uncle in New Mexico. No rust anywhere at all. Runs like new. No accidents. That being said I have replaced the original windshield, headlight assemblies, front and rear struts / shocks, rear air bags, rotors and brake calipers. I've replaced all of the fluids including transfer case, front & rear differential and transmission. Also had the car rust proofed now that it's living in the Northeast. The battery, timing belt, water pump and radiator were all replaced by the dealership at 90,000 miles. Prior to me the vehicle was dealer serviced at 5,000 mile intervals.
  4. You can either remove the light assembly or change it from underneath with the light assembly in place. The fog lamp removes by loosening (1) 10mm bolt. Two electrical connections and that's it.
  5. If the maintenance was taken care of and there's no indication of collision damage then that's likely a very good price. Carfax and condition is everything.
  6. That connection is for the OEM rear shocks with electronic ride control. They were likely replaced with standard rear shocks. The harnesses were therefore left disconnected.
