I purchased a new Aisin DLT010 door lock actuator and had my friend install it. Everything works perfectly 'except' the manual key will not lock or unlock the door. The FOB works fine. The driver door inside lock/unlock works fine. The outside 'touch' of a handle works fine. Gripping the door handle unlocks fine. When I remove the manual key from the FOB and try it, the door will not lock or unlock via the key.
I am puzzled by this. I assume it is an electrical problem. The actuator will still be under warranty if I need to replace it again.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
